FAQs

This section aims to provide answers to frequently asked questions pertaining to the Ontario Public Health Convention (TOPHC) and will be updated as more information is made available.

Virtual Library

  • The Virtual Library is a platform containing all session recordings from the Virtual Convention hosted on April 3, 2024. The Virtual Library contains over 15 hours of on demand content and is a great way for you to check out sessions you may have missed or re-watch sessions you really enjoyed.

  • Virtual Convention registrations purchased on or before April 3, 2024 include access to all formal session recordings (excluding networking) until September 30, 2024 at no additional cost.

  • Registration and access details should not be shared and will impact ongoing access to the library. Every paid registration will be connected to only one individual.

  • Virtual library access will be available until September 30, 2024.

  • Please refer to your registration confirmation or access details email. Alternatively, you can reach out to tophc.registration@oahpp.ca and a member of our team will be happy to send you a direct sign in link.

  • Any major, modern browser is supported. This includes Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and even Microsoft Edge. A general rule of thumb is that any modern browser and high-speed internet connection (min. 5 Mbps download speed) is all that's really needed to run PheedLoop itself. Google Chrome is the recommended browser. For the best experience we recommend accessing the platform on a laptop or desktop device, though it is responsive and compatible with tablets and smartphones. Tablets and smartphones are best suited for view-only experiences, as the platform relies on several technologies that are best compatible with full browsers (e.g. video chats).

  • If you experience technology restrictions due to your environment please visit https://support.pheedloop.com/article/485-identifying-and-solving-vpn-firewall-or-network-restriction-issues for advice on how to solve the issue. In case something isn't working, we often suggest trying:

    • Private/incognito window in your browser

    • Different browser

    • Disabling any operating system level VPNs or firewalls which may be blocking a specific website

    • Different network/internet Different computer

If you continue to experience an issue after trying these options, please email tophc@oahpp.ca and include a full-screen screenshot of the error message or challenge you’re seeing.

Virtual Convention

  • Through your personal computer or mobile device, you can participate in a virtual event from the comfort and convenience of your home, office, or anywhere else you choose. All formal program sessions will be recorded (excludes networking).

  • TOPHC is working diligently to prepare for this unique experience and will send you the necessary instructions a few days before the event. Make sure that the email address associated with your registration is accurate and up to date so that there is no delay in receiving our communications.

  • Every paid registration is connected to one individual and only one device (computer, laptop, tablet, phone) will be allowed to enter the Virtual Convention. The questions asked, and the networking conducted within that single login session are all tied to the account of the individual that registered for the virtual event.

  • Everybody has different browser configurations and network settings/restrictions which, in extreme cases, may warrant trying a different browser and/or network just to have a clean environment to engage with the virtual platform. In case something isn't working, to isolate the root cause, we often suggest trying:

    • Different browser (see Supported Browsers above)
