THE ONTARIO PUBLIC HEALTH CONVENTION

New to TOPHC this year: Full Day Workshops

This year we wanted to provide an opportunity for attendees to collaborate on key areas in public health by offering full day workshops on day three in the following areas:

Population Health Assessment

Mental Health

Indigenous HealthSchool Health

School Health

Environmental Health

With a full day of interactivity and learning we are hoping to invent new ways of navigating the many lenses of public health across Ontario.

What is TOPHC?

Leadership. Partnership. Change.

TOPHC is your opportunity to connect with health professionals from Ontario and beyond to share knowledge and develop skills related to public health. For three days in March, TOPHC 2018 will explore how we can lead through change, respond with innovative opportunities and partnerships, and set the course for a strong and renewed public health sector within a transformed system.

It is a time of transformation for public health. New policy and legislative changes within the Patients First Act and the new Ontario Standards for Public Health Programs and Services, emerging and ongoing health issues, and continuing health inequities drive a demand for innovation, leadership and intersectoral action. Our public health organizations at all levels have an opportunity to shape the health system in new ways; and continue to provide high quality programs and services that strengthen communities and enhance the health of our populations.
