Adapting to a Changing World

On behalf of Public Health Ontario, the Ontario Public Health Association, and the Association of Local Public Health Agencies, TOPHC would like to thank you for attending TOPHC 2015: Adapting to a Changing World, which brought together over 800 public health professionals to Toronto’s Allstream Centre, a spacious waterfront venue where attendees had the chance to engage with one another for three exciting days.

This year’s theme, “Adapting to a Changing World”, addressed how public health practice can anticipate, implement, and respond to changes in ourselves and others, in our environment, and in technology.

The building was abuzz with conversations on all aspects of public health following some thought-provoking presentations on everything from the impact of societal changes on our daily lives to the serious public health challenges posed by climate change. Those conversations carried over into the social media sphere with over 1,700 tweets related to this year’s TOPHC.

Once again, thank you to all of the speakers, panelists, moderators, volunteers, and especially delegates for your participation at and contributions to TOPHC 2015. We’d also like to acknowledge the tremendous support of our sponsors of this year’s event. Without all of you and your interest, knowledge, and support, TOPHC would not be possible.

We are looking forward to another great event next year. Mark your calendars and plan to join us at the Allstream Centre from April 4 to 6, 2016.
