TOPHC Student Rate
To qualify for the student rate, students must be enrolled full-time in a post-secondary institution. Students may be required to show valid full-time student identification at the convention registration desk when picking up their registration package.
TOPHC Speaker Daily Rate
Speakers at TOPHC 2012 are eligible for the speaker daily rate of $225.00 and is limited to three per session.
Early Bird Registration
To take advantage of the early bird reduced fees, your registration form and payment must be received by 11:59 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2012.
General Registration
On-line registration will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2012. After that date, please register on-site at the convention.
On-Site Registration
The on-site registration desk will be open during the following hours:
Monday, April 2, 2012 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday, April 3, 2012 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday, April 4, 2012 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Mentoring Opportunities
Would you like to mentor a student at TOPHC 2012? Last year, the TOPHC mentorship program was a success so we are repeating it in 2012. The program consists of mentors offering to meet with an assigned student to provide overall direction and advice. The topics can range from your current job, to career advice for the student, to your perspective on the TOPHC sessions, and anything in-between. If you agree, and are matched to a student, we will send you and the student an e-mail just before TOPHC so you can connect with each other at the event. We leave the scheduling to you. Last year, most mentors met their student at either a coffee break or during one of the lunch sessions and took it from there.
Time commitment: Anything from a half-hour coffee at the convention to an ongoing relationship (potentially for years).
Upon registration make sure to click "yes" if you want to be a mentor.
Students when you register for TOPHC don't forget to indicate that you would like to have a mentor.
Payment Information
The Ontario Public Health Convention (TOPHC) accepts payment by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and cheque.
Once you have completed the online registration form, you may indicate whether you will pay by credit card or by cheque.
PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD:
If you indicate that you will pay by credit card, you will be forwarded to the paypal website.
Please note, you do not need to create a paypal account or sign in with an existing paypal account. Please sign in as a guest, and complete payment by credit card.
Once you have completed the paypal form, your payment will be processed. Please note that if the information you enter into the transaction form is incorrect, or if your credit card is declined, you will not be registered for the conference.
PAYMENT BY CHEQUE:
If you indicate that you will pay by cheque, an invoice will be issued by Public Health Ontario.

Refund Policy
The convention office must be notified of cancellations via email at tophc@oahpp.ca. Cancellation notices received up to and including Friday, March 16, 2012 will be refunded the total convention fee less a $75.00 administration charge.
Refunds will not be issued after Friday, March 16th, 2012.
No shows are non-refundable and are liable for the full registration. If you cannot attend, you may send a substitute person. The original registrant must email an authorization to tophc@oahpp.ca for such a change in attendance.
Shared Registrations
Please note that TOPHC is unable to track or coordinate shared registrations. Delegates who wish to share are responsible for making their own arrangements. One registration package will be provided per paid registration.
